Snow City to close on 30 September 2026

It will mark its final chapter with One Last Snowfall, a public farewell campaign from June to September 2026

Snow City, Singapore’s first indoor snow centre, will close on Wednesday 30 September 2026 after 26 years of operations.

Snow City’s closure reflects the Science Centre Board (SCB)’s commitment to keeping its offerings fresh and relevant amidst shifting visitor interests and an evolving attractions landscape, while aligning with SCB’s science education mission and future plans.

To mark its final chapter, Snow City will hold a public farewell campaign, One Last Snowfall, from June to September 2026, inviting Singaporeans to visit the attraction during this period and celebrate the memories made over the years. In appreciation to all who have been part of Snow City’s journey, the campaign will feature limited-time experiences and offers, such as a Snow Play package priced at $19 for adults and $16 for children (a 30% savings off the usual price of $27 for adults and $23 for children), which includes one hour of snow play and a bumper car ride.

More details on the farewell campaign will be shared through Snow City’s and Science Centre Singapore’s websites and official social media channels in the coming weeks.

Snow City’s staff will be supported closely through this transition. The centre currently employs eight full-time staff, who have been offered redeployment opportunities within SCB. For employees who choose to pursue opportunities elsewhere, SCB will provide outplacement assistance and severance support in accordance with applicable employment terms and prevailing Ministry of Manpower guidelines. Snow City will also honour its contractual obligations to all vendors.
