A Multi-Sensory Exhibition bringing the iconic Sesame Street characters into the world of contemporary art, sensory experiences, interactive activities and playful installations.
Following the success of Sesame Street Magical Art World Chapter 1 in June, Marina Square Singapore is set to unveil MAGICAL ART WORLD Chapter 2, continuing its journey on celebration of art, creativity and the beloved characters of Sesame Street.
Presented by Marina Square Singapore in collaboration with COEXIST Culture and Sesame Street, Chapter 2 invites visitors to embark on a fresh artistic journey featuring a new group of global artists. Each artist brings their own distinctive visual language, quirky sensibilities and creative techniques to reimagine everyone’s favourite Sesame Street characters.
Moving beyond traditional art appreciation, MAGICAL ART WORLD Chapter 2 explores the emotional and cultural resonance of Sesame Street through contemporary art and sensory experiences. Familiar characters are transformed through unexpected textures, forms, colours and materials, creating heartfelt stories while highlighting enduring values of friendship, connection and harmonious coexistence.
A Global Celebration of Art and Cultural Exchange
In collaboration with COEXIST, a platform dedicated to cultural exchange and artistic innovation, the exhibition offers a contemporary interpretation of Sesame Street’s cultural legacy. Through the perspectives of artists from diverse backgrounds, the exhibition explores how universally recognised characters can transcend generations and cultures while continuing to inspire meaningful conversations around diversity, empathy and connection.
Continuing Sesame Street’s Legacy of Inspiring Children

MAGICAL ART WORLD Chapter 2 builds upon this legacy by bringing these iconic characters into the world of contemporary art, allowing visitors of all ages to experience them through new creative perspectives.
Hunt Down Large-Scale inflatables around Marina Square!
Shoppers embark on an exciting adventure around the mall and hunt down their favourite reimagined Sesame Street characters. They will spot large-scale inflatable installations featuring Count von Count, Elmo and Bert, each transformed into a stunning real-life structure inspired by unique and imaginative art styles, particularly the gigantic 7-metre Cookie Monster overlooking The Esplanade.

Step Into a Multi-Sensory Sesame Street Art World
Chapter 2 will transform Level 3 units (#03-153 to 155) into an immersive, multi-sensory art environment designed to encourage visitors to see, touch, explore and interact with art in playful ways.
The space will feature artworks from the participating artists, complemented by interactive elements and creatively designed photo opportunities. Created to be both engaging and Instagram-worthy, the exhibition provides plenty of opportunities for shoppers and families to capture memorable moments. Visitors will be encouraged to experience the exhibition through their senses, creating a more engaging connection between the artwork, the characters and the stories behind them. From discovering unexpected artistic interpretations to participating in hands-on activities, every corner of the space is designed to offer something new to explore.
With its combination of contemporary artworks, sensory experiences, interactive activities and playful installations, Sesame Street Magical Art World Chapter 2 promises a fresh and engaging experience for families, art lovers and Sesame Street fans alike.
Featured highlights include:
Reflections of Neon – Step into an immersive space illuminated by vibrant neon lights within a dark room, featuring a full-length mirror for selfies and playful pop-up words that add a fun, Instagram-worthy touch to the experience.
Floral Fantasy – Be transported into a whimsical floral fantasy, surrounded by a giant flower installation and vibrant pink walls that create the enchanting illusion of stepping into a larger-than-life garden. Featuring the distinctive paintings of renowned artist RORI HEE, the room’s vibrant colour palette complements her signature artistic style, creating a seamless and immersive visual experience.
Colourful Shadow Play – Visitors get creative as their shadows transform into a burst of colours through the playful science of coloured lights! Strike a pose, make funny shapes, and watch as colourful shadows come to life, perfect for capturing fun and quirky photos.
Pipe Beats – Grab a stick and start playing the xylophones, or place ears against the pipe openings to discover the different sounds hidden within! Get creative with the musical notes and let imaginations run wild!
The room also features the distinctive artworks of Geoffrey Bouillot, whose pipe-inspired elements seamlessly blend into his reinterpretation of the beloved Sesame Street characters, creating a playful fusion of art, sound and imagination.
Infinity Lens – Get dizzy and creative with different poses in front of the fisheye mirrors! Visitors can watch their reflections multiply and distort from every angle, creating a playful, surreal and Instagram-worthy photo spot.
Doodle Wonderland – Adults and kids can grab a piece of chalk and unleash their creativity by colouring and doodling across a wall filled with playful Sesame Street-inspired illustrations. Going beyond simply taking photos, this interactive space encourages everyone to get hands-on, express themselves and become part of the exhibition.
Painting Gallery – Paintings by the newly featured artists are displayed across the gallery’s clean, minimalist walls, with each artwork showcasing a distinct artistic style and unique story. Art lovers can take a moment to sit back, immerse themselves in the artworks, and discover how each artist has reimagined the beloved Sesame Street characters through their own creative lens.
Finale Experience – Sit back and relax while watching videos projected onto the wall, showcasing the artists’ backgrounds, creative journeys, and Sesame Street-inspired artworks. Take a moment to discover each artist’s unique story and see which artistic interpretation inspires and captivates them the most.
Merchandise Sales – Merchandise showcasing selected artworks by featured artists is available at the retail counter, offering shoppers the opportunity to purchase unique pieces as keepsakes, especially meaningful for fans looking to bring home a lasting memory of the experience.
Admission Pass
Visitors can redeem one 30-minute Admission Pass for every $20* spent on weekdays (Monday-Thursday) or $30* spent on weekends (Friday-Sunday) by presenting their physical receipts at #03-153, capped at a maximum of two pass redemptions per day per visitor, on a first-come, first-served basis. Each pass admits up to two people.
Visitors can select from 11 time slots daily – 12.30pm, 1.15pm, 2pm, 2.45pm, 3.30pm, 4.15pm, 5pm, 5.45pm, 6.30pm, 7.15pm and 8pm, subject to availability.

Limited Booklet and Sticker Redemption
Visitors can collect an activity booklet before they tour the exhibition. Upon completing the booklet, visitors can receive a limited-edition sticker featuring artworks from the participating artists as a special keepsake.
