The Ngee Ann National Students’ Calligraphy Competition 2026 (SCC 2026) is a FREE national student arts competition organised by the Ngee Ann Cultural Centre and is now open for registration.

Taking place on Saturday, 4 April 2026 at the Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza, the competition provides a platform for students from primary, secondary, junior colleges, polytechnics, and other equivalent institutions to demonstrate their calligraphy skills in a live, on-site setting. Winners will receive cash prizes, trophies, certificates and/or bookstore vouchers.

The competition aims to promote Chinese calligraphy, nurture young talents, and provide students with a meaningful platform to learn, compete, and grow in the traditional art form. The Ngee Ann National Students’ Calligraphy Competition is one of the very few calligraphy competitions in Singapore to be conducted entirely on site, and this year also marks the first time the competition will be held at Orchard Road.
