Step into a world of colour and magic as Hasbro’s MY LITTLE PONY brand comes to Gardens by the Bay’s Floral Fantasy in the exclusive Petals of Friendship showcase beginning December 11.
In the run-up to the Year of the Horse next year, four fan favourite characters – Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle – will sport new looks inspired by the colours, florals and traditional iconography from Chinese culture. They will frolic amidst lush floral landscapes designed to complement their personalities – from bold and dynamic hues for the courageous and loyal Rainbow Dash, to soft pastels and gentle textures for the kind and compassionate Fluttershy.
They are joined by the royal sisters – Princess Celestia, Princess Luna and Princess Cadance, set against a magnificent castle façade and stained-glass-style backdrops inspired by Canterlot, the regal home of Equestria’s princesses.
This limited-time showcase brings to life a botanical representation of one of the world’s most cherished franchises – a global phenomenon that has captured the hearts of fans across generations since its debut in the 1980s.

TWILIGHT SPARKLE

FLUTTERSHY
Fluttershy is a gentle soul with a big heart. Her kindness can soothe any creature, from tiny woodland animals to the mightiest mythical beasts, making her an invaluable friend on any adventure. She loves peaceful picnics and always sees the best in others. Her cutie mark, three pink butterflies, represents her gift for caring for animal friends.
PRINCESS CELESTIA
Princess Celestia is the wise and gracious ruler of Equestria. With both a unicorn’s horn and magnificent pegasus wings, she carries a commanding, regal presence. Profoundly magical and said to be over a thousand years old, she rules alongside her sister, Princess Luna, ensuring the sun and moon rise and set each day.
PRINCESS LUNA
Princess Luna is Princess Celestia’s younger sister, long burdened by the challenge of living in her sibling’s shadow. She was reformed during Twilight Sparkle’s very first adventure, her heart transformed by the power of the Elements of Harmony. Though she still struggles at times, her intentions remain pure, and she is certain to find the happiness she seeks one day soon.
PRINCESS CADANCE
Together with her husband, Shining Armor, Princess Cadance rules the Crystal Empire. As Princess Celestia’s niece, she carries a love so magical, that when joined with Shining Armor’s own, it becomes unstoppable. She graces the Crystal Empire with her gentle spirit, potent magic and unwavering selflessness.
