Bandai Namco Asia is proud to announce the official opening of THE GUNDAM BASE SINGAPORE at Jewel Changi Airport on February 3, 2026. This marks a major milestone for Gundam fans in Singapore with an official Gundam Base to call its own.
THE GUNDAM BASE is Bandai Namco’s official Gundam model kit retail concept, offering fans access to authentic products and a brand experience that goes beyond traditional retail.
The main objective of the store is to provide fans with an immersive Gundam and Gunpla (Gundam plastic models) experience. They will discover themed Gundam model exhibits, interactive build experiences and a wide range of Gundam merchandise at THE GUNDAM BASE SINGAPORE. A 1.8 metre RX-78 [Gundam BASE Color] Gundam statue welcomes everyone to the store, while a Photo Booth lets fans take photos with a large blueprint of fan-favourite RX-78-2 Gundam.
In addition, THE GUNDAM BASE SINGAPORE will feature a dedicated workshop area, designed especially for newcomers who are interested in trying out Gunpla building for the first time. During the weekends, this model-building workshop will be free to the public with families welcomed to make it a bonding event. This workshop space reflects Bandai Namco’s commitment to nurturing creativity and introducing the joy of Gunpla to a wider audience.

Located at Level 4 in Jewel Changi Airport, THE GUNDAM BASE SINGAPORE serves not only Singapore Gundam fans but also serves as a dedicated hub for Gundam fans in the region. It seeks to strengthen Bandai Namco’s connection with local fan communities and support the growth of Gundam culture in Southeast Asia.

The GUNDAM BASE SINGAPORE will be the only location in Singapore to carry Gunpla limited edition items, making it a must-visit destination for collectors and enthusiasts. At launch, the Singapore store will carry a comprehensive range of Gunpla across multiple grades, including Entry Grade, SD, High Grade (HG), Real Grade (RG), Master Grade (MG), and Perfect Grade (PG), catering to both newcomers and experienced builders alike.
Some of the popular and hard-to-find Gundam models available at the official store include the HG 1/144 The Gundam Base Limited RX-78-2 Gundam [Beyond Global] [The Gundam Base Color], the MG 1/100 The Gundam Base Limited Hyaku-Shiki Ver.2.0 [Mechanical Core Plating], the MG 1/100 The Gundam Base Limited Sengoku Astray Gundam [Metallic], and the MG 1/100 The Gundam Base Limited Gundam Virtue [Clear Color].
