The highlight of Marine Cove is a 3,500sqm children’s playground with a range of play equipment suitable for children of various ages. It is located close to the beach, offering users open spaces and good views of the sea.
It was designed to integrate with the surrounding greenery and the beach setting within East Coast Park. The theme of the playground is inspired by the park’s coastal identity and celebrates our local marine environment.

Kids can also climb up the tower through a funnel net in the middle.

The playground will also have inclusive play equipment for children of different abilities to play together, said NParks. This includes special needs equipment such as sensory play panels.
NParks has also introduced more family-friendly facilities at Marine Cove. This includes a new standalone public toilet facility that incorporates toilets, sinks and shower facilities tailored to young children.
