“花开扇语 A New Beginning Unfolds” from 2 January to 12 February 2025 at ION Orchard, welcoming the arrival of spring. This Lunar New Year, ION Orchard invites shoppers to celebrate prosperity and togetherness, featuring an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-generated backdrop with an opened fan that symbolises new beginnings, paired with mountain motifs that represent stability and grandeur.

Lunar New Year Exclusives

ION+ Rewards Members can receive a set of red packets (8pc) with fan motifs in gold foil-finish, adding a touch of opulence to the traditional red packets. The packets are available in two colours – chic red and bold orange. In addition to the red packets, members can look forward to redeeming a custom mandarin orange carrier at ION Orchard.

The red packets and mandarin orange carrier can be redeemed at Basement 1 and Level 4 Concierge Counters with a minimum spend of $80, while stocks last.

Fortune of the Year

From 4 January to 12 February 2025, shoppers can discover what 2025 holds for their luck, wealth, relationship, career, health at the ‘Fortune of the Year’ installation located at Level 1 Atrium. The elegant setting is adorned with fan motifs and mountain elements, adding a symbolic touch to the experience.

Springtime Festivities

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with an enthralling Lion Dance and God of Fortune roving performance at ION Orchard. Witness the vibrant energy of the traditional lion dance as it brings prosperity and joy with acrobatic moves and rhythmic drumbeats. Meanwhile, the God of Fortune will make his way around the mall, spreading good luck and handing out token of blessings to shoppers.

This Lunar New Year, Hennessy, the renowned cognac Maison, invites visitors to celebrate three centuries of excellence with two extraordinary experiences at ION Orchard – the immersive Crafted, by Hennessy exhibition and the mesmerising Hennessy Kinetic Spring Garden installation.

Featuring exclusive collaborations with designers Cath Kidston and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac (JCDC), the FILA Kids Pop-up Store at Basement 4 ION Station offers stylish family matching outfits that bring elegance and charm to your festive celebrations. Happening from 9 to 23 January 2025, celebrate in coordinated style and create unforgettable moments this Lunar New Year. Shoppers who spend $488 or more stand to receive a set of FILA red packets, while stocks last.

Kickstart Lunar New Year with Sustainable Choices

In partnership with Geneco, simply drop off your used or excess red packets at the red packet recycling bin near Basement 1 Concierge Counter from now till 28 February 2025. These red packets will be pulped and made into other types of paper products.

Shoppers are also invited to donate their preloved clothing and accessories at the Salvation Army donation bin located at Level 8 Lobby A of the mall.
