LITTLE ONES TO TAKE OVER CHILDREN’S MUSEUM SINGAPORE!
Celebrate Children’s Day at Children’s Museum Singapore (CMSG) with “Children’s Takeover @ CMSG” on Friday, 3 October 2025. As part of this initiative, Primary 4 and 5 students from Gan Eng Seng Primary School will take over the museum for half a day, managing operations such as ticketing, serving as museum guides, and assisting with housekeeping processes.

This one-day event aims to empower children by entrusting them with front-of-house responsibilities, allowing them to exercise different skills including teamwork, problem-solving and communications. It will also offer them a rare behind-the-scenes look into museum operations, sparking their curiosity and appreciation for heritage through play.
As part of CMSG’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, the museum ensures that its activities and programmes are designed to be accessible to children of diverse needs and abilities. Building on similar children-led initiatives by the museum, this takeover experience will be the first time that children will take on front-of-house responsibilities at such a large scale, with an expanded scope and format. The partnership with Gan Eng Seng Primary School will see over 30 students stepping up to take on the various roles.
Adding to the celebrations, entry to CMSG will be free for all children on 3, 4 and 5 October 2025, providing more reasons to head down this Children’s Day to interact with the exhibits while having fun. Find out more details and purchase admission tickets via Children’s Museum Singapore’s website. Children’s Takeover @ CMSG will be taking place at the 9am slot on 3 October. All tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
❇️ Free entry for all children – 3, 4 & 5 Oct 2025 (Pre-booking required)
