1. A Dedicated Family Wellness Hub: CONNECT @ City Square Mall
This is arguably the biggest news for parents. The mall has introduced CONNECT @ City Square Mall, a dedicated 15,000 sq ft space housing five social service agencies all under one roof.
Located on Level 4 and Basement 2, this isn’t just an office space. It’s a first-stop resource for families, offering:
- Counselling and support for children and families.
- The “Playful Hut” by Kampong Kapor Community Services, a safe space for therapeutic interventions for children who have faced challenging experiences.
- Programmes like KidSTART and Thriving Families to support children’s development and family wellness.
- Free mental health talks and parent-child bonding activities.
For parents, this transforms the mall from a shopping spot into a real community support network.
2. New Nature Playgrounds at City Green

4. Eco-Fun with “Eco Mama”
Staying true to its green roots, the mall has doubled down on sustainability in a way that engages kids.
- Meet Eco Mama: The mall’s new adorable mascot – a green globe with a catchy jingle. Kids can even collect a plushie version that doubles as an eco-bag.
- Eco Stamp Rally: Turn a shopping trip into a treasure hunt! Kids can collect stamps at various eco-features around the mall to learn about sustainability and redeem a gift.
- New World Play & Records: To celebrate the launch, there are retro carnival games at City Green (until the end of March), and you can check out two new Singapore Book of Records installations: the largest display of sequin art and a massive art piece made from recycled milk bottles.
5. Retail Therapy for the Whole Family
The tenant mix has been refreshed with over 21 unique concepts. Parents can look forward to new lifestyle stores like Foot Tree (specialising in shoes for kids aged 0-10), Giggle Jungle by Yooland, and activity centres like Puzzletopia and Sciencetopia on Level 4.
