Sci-sational Christmas

Science Centre Singapore is bringing back Sci-sational Christmas, and it’s better than ever! Visit the Elf Village and experience a Christmas like no other, diving into a host of festive science activities as you uncover the busy lives of our merry elves:

1. Step into the shoes of an engineer with the Snuggle Puzzle as you construct a cosy dome, then follow your sense of smell in Nose Knows to discover the scents of the season.

3. Unleash your creativity at Crafty Chaos* and make your own Christmas cards and unique, shrinking plastic keychains.

2. STEAM Festival: The Secret Life Rex

This year at KidsSTOP™, The Secret Life of Rex will showcase how sensorial experiences and surreal dreamscapes collide. Join Rex the little dinosaur as we embark on an adventure into his secret life to uncover the science behind our five senses, sleep, and the curious realm of dreams!

Learn more about how we feel, think and see, as well as the importance of having good sleeping habits, and the inner workings of our mind when we go to bed each night. From mind-boggling optical illusions and interactive exhibits to DIY workshops and fun activities for the whole family, opportunities to learn, play, and make new discoveries await you at every turn!

Additionally, Science Centre Singapore will be hosting the pilot launch of The Rex Factory, a pop-up retail experience where children can build and customise their very own version of Rex, the honorary KidsSTOP™ mascot!

3. Breach Resort

Calling all mystery lovers, crime solvers, and thrill-seekers! Get ready for an unforgettable night of intrigue, crime, and forensic science at Breach Resort!

Lured by the shimmering sands of Breach Resort for a music festival, guests will be plunged into a web of crime and mystery as they participate in forensic inspired activities set against the backdrop of a tropical beach resort.
An enthralling experience specially catered for young adults 15 years and above, participants will learn about crime scene analysis and investigative techniques. Guests can explore and carry out investigations including bloodstain pattern analysis, toxicology, as well as footprint and fingerprint analysis.

Enjoy a complimentary snack and drink at the beach resort, along with same-night general admission to the Science Centre galleries.
