CHIJMES will kick off the FIFA World Cup 2026 celebrations with an official Inauguration watch party. The party is held in collaboration with the Embassy of Mexico in Singapore, the Singapore-Mexico Chamber of Commerce and Lenovo – the event’s Official Technology Partner – with the esteemed presence of the Embassy of the United States of America in Singapore as well as the High Commission of Canada in Singapore, together representing the tournament’s three host nations. Throughout the entire season, there will be massive outdoor live screenings of the world’s most loved game flanked by a bustling, al fresco F&B village serving up delectable bites and booze designed to keep energy levels high well into the night. Across the grounds, a dedicated entertainment zone brings in everything from football clinics to soccer games. CHIJMES’ exclusive partnership with Don Julio, the world’s No.1 tequila, and an Official FIFA World Cup™ 2026 Supporter, also brings the liveliness and spirit of Mexico to the festivities.

The event will feature appearances from Ambassadors as well as other distinguished guests, alongside an exciting showcase of football, culture, and music. Be sure to come down to try this unique, tech-driven take on the sport with drone soccer – a new, gamer-friendly sport that blends rapid decision-making with precision control. Suitable for both gaming and sports enthusiasts alike, visitors can also catch exciting competitive exhibition matches, adding a fresh twist to the Football Fever line-up.

Participants can also look forward to Drone Soccer try-outs at Chinatown Point from 29 June to 5 July 2026. Open to all levels, this first-of-its-kind drone sports activation combines play, competition, and STEM-learning to create a fresh new experience that is sure to bring the community together. Beginners can also sign up for free trial sessions, making the sport even more approachable.

What’s more, Perennial Business City will also host Singapore’s first-ever 5-week Drone Soccer Sky League starting from 8 June 2026, which brings together coaching, competitive play, and free trials for beginners, with the final rounds of the league held on 11 and 12 July 2026.

In partnership with Flair Football Academy (FFA), aspiring young players can take part in a series of interactive football clinics designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of the game in a fun and engaging environment.

Beyond the training sessions, visitors can also take part in a fun Football Accuracy Challenge where the person with the most number of goals can stand a chance to win prizes! Plus, enjoy free energy drink samplers at the Hausboom BOOM+booth.

Catch the excitement of the season across multiple screening locations at Capitol Singapore. Matches will be screened daily at the Arcade at The Capitol Kempinski, while the Outdoor Plaza will host screenings across the season, from 9am to 10pm. Capitol Bistro Bar. Patisserie will also extend its operating hours till 12 midnight throughout the tournament season for match screenings.

Complementing the screenings, selected dining outlets will roll out special promotions throughout the season. From 11 June to 20 July, Hopscotch will offer all-day specials, including 3 pints of Heineken beer at $33++, as well as a Sausage Platter paired with 3 pints of Heineken beer at $55++ – perfect for group gatherings during match nights.

Designed for families, students and shoppers looking for fun school holiday activities, the activation offers an accessible daytime alternative for visitors to soak in the sporting spirit beyond live screenings.

Visitors can try their hand at free-to-play game stations including Robo Car Soccer and VR Soccer, and take part in the “Tiny Human, Giant Goal” social media challenge by striking their funniest pose with the giant football installation and tagging @chinatownpoint_sg to stand a chance to win $50 FairPrice vouchers. Perennial Business City: Drone Soccer Sky League & Live Match Action
