Delivered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in partnership with the National Library Board (NLB) and non-profit Vivita Singapore, the Amazon Think Big Program is designed to spark curiosity, inspire innovation, and help young learners build confidence, creativity, and foundational digital skills through structured, community-based workshops.

The program features a curated series of free, hands-on workshops focused on foundational skills in AI, cloud computing, coding, and robotics, alongside opportunities for students to interact with Amazon engineers and gain exposure to real-world technology careers.

When:
- The program runs year-round with at least four sessions each month.
- Please look out for upcoming sessions on the NLB events page (Search Amazon Think Big). Upcoming sessions are taking place on 23 May, Saturday and 13 June, Saturday.

- Apr – Jun 2026: Punggol Regional Library
- Jul – Dec 2026: Jurong East Community Library

- Registration is free, through the NLB website.
More info on workshop types:
- Coding: Learn to build games, websites, and interactive programs while learning computational thinking (e.g. a “fruit ninja” style game, a vase using Code for 3D printing)
- Robotics: Use Stick ‘Em kits to build chopstick robots, e.g. soccer robots, disaster relief robots
- AI: Participants learn about basic concepts of machine learning and AI, and how to use them ethically and responsibly as a support in creating games, images, and chatbots.
- Cloud computing: Participants learn how cloud technologies and data centres power many of the digital services we use every day, and interact with Amazon engineers to learn more about careers in technology.
