I’m delighted to introduce Finding Magic, a picture book I wrote for children aged 4 to 7 that gently explores emotional resilience and the power of mindset. The story follows Ava, Mia, and their mother, Mummy Daisy, as they navigate disappointment and discover that their inner “magic” can help them face challenges with courage and creativity.
Set in Singapore’s Holland Village, the book is designed to open up meaningful conversations between children and caregivers about emotions, optimism, and the ability to grow through difficult moments.
To build on the themes of the book, I’m currently developing a companion activity set that will launch next year. This hands-on, screen-free resource will offer engaging ways for children to express their feelings, build positive mindset, and create their own magical recipes for handling everyday ups and downs. Whether you’re a parent, educator, or caregiver, I hope this set will serve as a valuable tool in nurturing emotional well-being and supporting children as they grow into resilient, self-aware individuals.
