“Children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future.” – John F. Kennedy.

These are words that Club Rainbow (Singapore) strongly lives by.

Club Rainbow (Singapore) works to support and empower the lives of children with chronic illnesses and their families. At the core of their work is the noble belief that every child is entitled to equal opportunities to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

The independent charity assists over 1,000 beneficiary families by providing a wide range of services, which include psychosocial, financial, educational, informational, and social support, among others.

As part of their CSR initiatives, they conduct a variety of events and programmes for their beneficiary families from time to time, such as art festivals, adventure camps, and family retreats. Most of their CSR initiatives are supported by corporate partners, the most recent of which is Postnatal Massage Singapore (PNSG).

PNSG is no stranger to lending a helping hand.

The popular Singapore massage service has been around for a long time, helping mothers overcome prenatal and postnatal challenges through authentic Javanese massages performed by certified therapists in the comfort of their own homes.

PNSG had always wanted to give back, and thanks to Club Rainbow (Singapore), they were finally able to do so.

Under the #MakeaDifference campaign, the two organisations collaborated to organise an online donation drive. Members of the public were able to contribute to the drive by sharing PNSG’s campaign-related social media posts, with each share resulting in a $5 donation.

A special CSR video was also made and published on PNSG’s social media platforms.

When asked why they chose to collaborate, a PNSG representative said, “We’ve seen the organisation’s good intentions in supporting their beneficiary families. What they do is truly inspiring, and it’s an honour to be able to help or even be a part of it.”

The donation drive is entirely online, with 100% of the proceeds going to Club Rainbow (Singapore). Members of the public who wish to contribute can do so until October 31, 2021.
