Let's Celebrate 2024 Brings A Spectacular Hit Parade To The Promontory, Marina Bay!

Get ready to ring in 2024 with a bang at Let’s Celebrate 2024, Mediacorp’s annual countdown extravaganza held in conjunction with Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2024, which is presented by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA). Audiences will be treated to an evening of non-stop entertainment with a star-studded lineup of local and international talents, with the grand countdown to midnight and spectacular fireworks display at The Promontory at Marina Bay on Sunday, 31 December. In the lead-up, Mediacorp has also ventured into the metaverse for the first time, offering our audiences an immersive experience that extends beyond the show.

New Year's Eve Countdown Party Let's Celebrate 2024

This year, Let’s Celebrate 2024 will be hosted by the dynamic duo Mediacorp 987’s Germaine Tan and multi-talented personality Ebi Shankara. The annual countdown show promises a diverse and electrifying lineup under the theme “Hit Parade,” featuring performances of hit songs spanning the decades. In line with Mediacorp’s commitment to providing platforms for homegrown talent, anticipate dazzling performances from actress Tasha Low, actor Shawn Thia, the multi-faceted Iman Fandi, emerging singer-songwriter Shazza, and the mesmerising Jasmine Sokko.

Joining them to excite the live audience are local hip-hop act omarKENOBI and R&B singer Khally, rockstar Fuad Rahman, up-and-coming musicians JJ Neo, Daryl-Ann, as well as Vasantham Star 2023 winner Navein Gunasekaran. The star-studded lineup will also feature high-energy performances by international musical sensation Crash Adams, known for their popular tracks “Give Me A Kiss” and “California Girl”.

Alongside musical acts, Singapore’s popular comedians Kumar, Sharul Channa, and Suhaimi Yusof will also grace the stage with an uproarious comedic dance-off skit. Please refer to the Annex for the list of hosts and key performers at the event.

Partygoers can start their celebrations ahead of the fireworks, as the gates open at 7pm. The early celebrations will include live DJ performances, food, drinks, games, and opportunities to win exciting prizes, all leading up to the main event.

Viewers at home can also keep up with the excitement by tuning into the hourly behind-the-scenes updates on the countdown show on television and radio from beloved DJs: Mediacorp 987’s Ann Nicole, Mediacorp YES 933’s Chen Qijia, Mediacorp RIA 897’s Fadli Kamsani, and Mediacorp OLI 968’s Nithiya.

And for the first time, Mediacorp steps into the metaverse with the Mediacorp Let’s Celebrate 2024 Interactive Game, a collaboration with digital creators Smobler and the online gaming platform The Sandbox. Audiences can elevate their celebratory experience with the game, extending beyond the countdown show. Create an avatar, engage with behind-the-scenes crew, explore Mediacorp’s 987 studio, and partake in a dance-off with Shazza in the virtual world, alongside various other activities, and quests. Rally friends for the ultimate team challenge and unleash the animated dragon.

Mediacorp Let’s Celebrate 2024 Interactive Game features a total of 19 popular personalities, including Mediacorp 987’s Joakim Gomez, Mediacorp RIA 897’s Azura Goh, Mediacorp OLI 968’s Ravi G, and artistes Herman Keh, Zhai Siming, and Juin Teh.
