Featuring The Ultimate Drummer’s Weekend And Drum Off Singapore
The annual Singapore Drum Festival, organised by Fest Events International, began in 2007 to accommodate to the heightened demand from the Singapore drumming community to organise events and competitions to grow the drumming scene in the country. Gathering local talents & renowned Drummers, Percussionist & Bands from around the world, drum clinics & drum challenges were also introduced to further provide local talents an avenue to hone and compete their skills, enabling them to grow as musicians. By doing so, Fest Events International has helped local talents to being recognised and secured endorsements by renowned drumming equipment manufacturers over the years.
As part of 2017’s Singapore Drum Festival, the Ultimate Drummer’s Weekend will be held at MAX Atria@ Singapore EXPO alongside PlayLAH! from 5 to 6 August. The Ultimate Drummers Weekend celebrates the musicianship of the finest drummers from around the world in a single weekend. Singapore Drum Fest 2017 will witness an impressive line-up of local and foreign artists who will convene at MAX Atria @ Singapore EXPO for two days of musicianship and showmanship, and some of the best talents that will be represented include Stanley Randolph from the United States (who has drummed for Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys and The Jacksons), Jost Nickel from Germany, Anson Koh from Singapore (Drum off Singapore 2016 winner) and Federico Paulovich from Italy, amongst a host of other star performers.
The Grand Finals of Drum off, the world’s definitive open drumming competition annually held in Singapore, will see the most talented competitors from all over the world battle for the championship through 4 Drum Off categories – Junior, Intermediate, Girls and Open, during the same weekend (5 to 6 August 2017) on the PlayLAH! stage.

- ULTIMATE DRUMMERS WEEKEND – the only most important Annual International Modern Drum set festival organized for every drummer in Singapore and all around Asia. One can expect top notch performances from the best drummers in the world and highly-beneficial small group masterclasses from the star-studded line up.
The International Drumming stars hailing from USA, Germany & Italy are all performing in Singapore for the very first time! First choice drummer for Stevie Wonder and Christina Aguilera, Stanley Randolph will demonstrate an impeccable style of playing music from his perspective and why he is a first call musician. - DRUM OFF SINGAPORE – The finals of this competition (a part of the aforementioned event) will feature representatives from more than 10 countries coming from as far as U.S.A.. An exciting friendly battle ensues with contestants of Junior, Intermediate, Girls and Open categories vying for the coveted “first ever” Champion’s Cymbal Trophy in the world. Girls category is a brand new category.
