Singapore School Terms and Holidays for 2024
Primary 1, Kindergarten 1 and secondary school students in Ministry of Education (MOE) schools will kick off the new school year on 2 Jan 2024.
Kindergarten 2 and Primary 2 to 6 pupils will report to school on 3 Jan 2024 based on the MOE press release outlining the school terms and holidays for 2024.

¹ The last day of the final school term for schools which will be used as venues for the GCE O-Level written examinations, will be Friday 25 October 2024.

Primary and Secondary School Vacations 2024
The four vacation periods for Primary Schools, Secondary Schools for 2024 will be as follows:

There are four scheduled school holidays. The Tuesday 13 Feb (4th day of CNY) will be a designated day off-in-lieu. The Day after Youth Day 1 Jul 2024, Teachers’ Day will be celebrated on 30 August 2024, and Children’s Day on 4 October 2024. Youth Day falls on 30 June 2024.
