Be Over the Moon this Mid-Autumn Festival with Jurong Point!
The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most anticipated events on the Chinese calendar. An annual occasion when the moon is the roundest and brightest, this is a night where people gather to celebrate family, harmony and unity.
This Mid-Autumn Festival, join in the fun and excitement at Jurong Point between 22 August and 30 September! There are plenty of experiences you should not miss – From cultural performances and games, to the first ever mass lantern walk organised by a shopping mall and the much-loved Mid-Autumn Fair.

1. Mass Lantern Walk (22 Sep 2018)
Often known as the most symbolic tradition during Mid-Autumn Festival, lantern-carrying marks the time where families get together after a reunion dinner for a walkabout, while appreciating the beauty of the full moon.
Jurong Point is happy to be the first shopping mall in Singapore to organise the mass lantern walk. On Saturday, 22 September between 7pm and 8pm, participants can join in the fun at the inaugural mass lantern walk and enjoy a leisurely stroll around the vicinity of Jurong Point while carrying their favourite lanterns. During the walk, participants can also look forward to surprise appearances by Chang’e, Jade Rabbit and much more!
Registration is free and open to the first 200 participants only. Participants will also receive a special goodie bag containing a lantern, vouchers and more (worth over $200). To register, visit here.
2. Cultural Performances and Games (15 Sep – 16 Sep, 22 Sep – 23 Sep)
On the weekends of 15-16 September and 22-23 September, shoppers can learn more about festival traditions and customs. Featuring interactive cultural games at the “Golden Games Carnival” to must-see stage performances and dazzling traditional dragon dance performance, the celebration brings a variety of activities for everyone to enjoy, and is part of Jurong Point’s efforts to encourage shoppers to reconnect with the Chinese heritage. The activities will take place at Jurong Point 2 (JP2) Main Entrance.
From 10 Sep – 23 Sep, shoppers can redeem a game pass when you spend $20 ($40 NTUC FairPrice, FairPrice Xtra and/or its subtenants) in a single receipt. Redemption is limited to the first 400 redemptions per day, and up to 4 passes per shopper per day.
3. Mid-Autumn Fair (3 Sep – 23 Sep 2018)
Mooncakes are a must-have during the Mid-Autumn Festival! Located at Jurong Point 1 Atrium, shoppers will be spoilt for choice from the selection of mooncakes that are available for sale. Whether you enjoy the classic baked mooncakes, exquisite snow skin mooncakes or prefer the localised durian flavour, our list of decadent mooncakes from participating retailers will surely have something in store for you.
Gift-with-Purchase: Coaster set (22 Aug – 30 Sep)
Shoppers can redeem an exquisitely designed coaster to make a beautiful addition to your table top, and savour your tea in style. To redeem, simply spend $80 spent up to a combination of 2 same-day receipts ($160 at NTUC FairPrice, FairPrice Xtra and/or its subtenants). Limited to the first 150 redemptions per day.
