This September to November, CaringSG invites you and your loved ones to participate in a series of creative DIY workshops that combine craft and charitable giving. Each session is led by passionate caregiver-trainers from CaringSG’s CAREcottage programme or local artisans and baristas, giving you a chance to learn something new, support caregiver livelihoods, and make a difference for special needs caregivers.

CaringSG Workshops

From floral soap making to crochet, coffee appreciation, and even decorating your own trinket dish, there’s something for everyone. Every workshop is kept small and cosy, so participants receive personal guidance while enjoying a relaxed experience in welcoming cafés and studios across Singapore.

Better yet, your ticket fees are donations which are 250% tax-deductible and matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact of your support for CaringSG’s caregiver programmes.

Where your donations go

Proceeds from every workshop support CaringSG’s caregiver programmes:

  • CAREbuddy – one-to-one emotional support and befriending by trained volunteers who journey alongside caregivers.
  • CAREwell – support for caregivers in their caregiving role, emotional and mental wellness, decisions about services, and care management.
  • CAREconnect – inclusive community events and networks to reduce caregiver isolation and build strong connections.

British Council

Part of the proceeds also support caregiver and local trainers and venues for a sustainable income.

By joining a workshop, you’re not just crafting something meaningful – you’re helping caregivers be well and empowered.
