The Bamboo Grove: The world’s first outdoor bamboo garden in an airport, located along the Changi Airport Connector.
Escape the hustle and bustle and step into a serene, verdant sanctuary at The Bamboo Grove. As the world’s first outdoor bamboo garden in an airport, this 526-square-metre space offers a unique, picturesque retreat for travellers and local visitors alike.
Inspired by the tranquil bamboo forests of East Asia, the garden is adorned with a diverse collection of bamboo species from around the region, including the striking Black Bamboo and the towering Giant Bamboo. Tall tropical bamboos create a calming canopy, complemented by stone pathways, large boulders, and quiet seating areas.
Conceived by Changi Airport Group’s Horticulture team, The Bamboo Grove is designed as a peaceful rest stop for cyclists and joggers on the Changi Airport Connector, as well as a moment of respite for travellers between flights. Breathe in the fresh air, listen to the gentle rustling of the bamboo, and find a moment to clear your thoughts and recharge amidst your journey.
This peaceful retreat provides you with a small energy boost to power through the rest of your day.
How to get to Changi’s Bamboo Grove
