pregnant and stress research a-star

If you answered yes to any of the above, you could be having mild pre-natal anxiety and low mood.

Pre-natal stress during pregnancy
– and not just post-natal blues
– may affect your ability to cope with motherhood, reduce breastfeeding success and impact your baby’s development. But if you are in an improved mood during pregnancy, it may benefit you and potentially your child’s long-term development.

We are looking for 180 pregnant women to join our PROMOTE study and find out if a probiotic, commonly taken to improve digestive health, may also help to improve your mood. Please contact us if you are between 20 weeks and 28 weeks pregnant.

Even if you don’t fall precisely within this window, please feel free to register your interest (at the link below) if you are keen to participate in this study.
