The integrated resort unveils refined holiday elegance with magnificent decorations and immersive experiences.

Marina Bay Sands ushers in the magic and wonder of Christmas with a curated line-up of experiences and a captivating display of lights and decorations. From 8 November to 29 December, visitors can immerse in a whimsical atmosphere centred upon the theme of the “nutcracker butler”, harmonising timeless tradition with modern storytelling.

An ode to its team of butlers – the largest in Singapore – and its commitment to excellence in luxury hospitality, the integrated resort has transformed into an enchanting realm adorned with an assembly of 88 nutcracker butlers and nearly 190 Christmas trees.

Beginning from the Porte Cochere, 2.1-metre-tall nutcracker butlers flank the striking entrance now transformed into The Nutcracker Station, hinting at the charming narrative that awaits visitors. At the Hotel Lobby, the majestic, multi-tiered Great Glistening Tree sits atop a gilded carousel-inspired dome embellished with shimmering ornaments. On its crown, a nutcracker butler is captured in a whimsical moment, placing the brightest star to complete the resplendent display. Meanwhile, nutcracker butlers with gifts in hand proudly stand around its base, evoking an ambience of festive grandeur.

Over at The Shoppes, nutcracker butlers grace the aisles of the mall, dedicated to spreading joy beneath a canopy of Christmas trees – the Levitating Fir Forest. At the Grand Colonnade, the Midnight Toy Factory showcases nutcracker butlers hard at work, earnestly preparing gifts.

In addition, a five-minute showcase held twice daily at 7.30pm and 8.30pm sets the stage for The Nutcracker Butler’s Concerto, a coordinated display of twinkling lights across the Levitating Fir Forest and animated visuals on the 16 LED screens. The experience is accompanied by a musical score that highlights the tale of the nutcracker butler. As the animation brings the character to life, the showcase transforms the mall into a spectacle of festive immersion and storytelling at the heart of the integrated resort.

From 7 to 21 November, the building’s iconic architecture will also light up in the evening in champagne gold, depicting Christmas trees and ornaments. Over at the ArtScience Museum, a grand projection of nutcracker butlers will complement the light up, spreading festive cheer around the bay.

Holiday highlights at fun-filled attractions

Beyond the festive flavours and shimmering décor, the celebrations extend to Marina Bay Sands’ iconic attractions. From awe-inspiring exhibitions at ArtScience Museum to the luminous wonder of the Digital Light Canvas by teamLab and the timeless charm of Sampan Rides, families are invited to journey through stories told through art, technology, and tradition. From now till 30 November, every adult ticket purchased to SingaPop! 60 Years of Singapore Pop Culture, Another World Is Possible, Sampan Rides and Digital Light Canvas by teamLab includes two complimentary tickets for young explorers aged 2 to 12.

At ArtScience Museum, SingaPop! allows families to rediscover six vibrant decades of Singapore’s pop culture, including familiar tunes, television icons and fashion statements that defined eras. Each gallery acts as a time capsule of memories, where children step into the golden moments their parents grew up with, and parents relive the nostalgia that shaped their youth. Meanwhile, Another World Is Possible opens a portal to alternative futures through thought-provoking installations that are filled with optimism and wonder. Beyond the galleries, families can enjoy a leisure ride through the Canal on Sampan Rides, surrounded by the enchanting holiday glow of The Shoppes. At Digital Light Canvas by teamLab, children and parents are swept into a fantastical wonderland where whimsical animals and flowers burst to life through mesmerising light displays.

The festive magic continues throughout December, with two Christmas special experiences featuring Sampan Rides and Digital Light Canvas by teamLab. Guests can purchase an individual package at S$20 (U.P. S$23.50) per person, granting access to both attractions for adults and children alike. Alternatively, a family package is available at S$80 (U.P. S$130) for four guests to enjoy both attractions. With this package, families can turn their drawings created at Digital Light Canvas by teamLab into a uniquely personal tote bag, and bring home four paper crafts that reimagine their creations as a three-dimensional paper figure that they can fold and build. Infusing the visit with the sparkle and joy of Christmas, all guests visiting either attraction will receive a Nutcracker hat and a holiday treat.

Experience Broadway magic with a tale as old as time

Adding a touch of enchantment to the festive calendar, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast musical will grace the stage at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands from 11 December 2025 to 25 January 2026. With a brand-new production making its only stop in Asia at Marina Bay Sands, guests can look forward to breathtaking new sets, stunning costumes and a timeless score that generations have come to love. The musical will present spell-binding classics by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, including Belle, Gaston, Be Our Guest and the title song, Beauty and the Beast. Based on the 1991 animated film, Beauty and the Beast remains one of Broadway’s longest-running shows and has toured 37 countries worldwide.

Ring in the new year from Singapore’s most iconic vantage point as Countdown in the Sky returns to SkyPark Observation Deck on 31 December, Wednesday, from 10.30pm to 2.00am. Perched high above the glittering cityscape, visitors will be treated to a breathtaking spectacle of fireworks alongside live music that will set the tone for the night. A specially curated complimentary drink and mixed-flavour popcorn will add a festive touch to this celebration.
