18 Months to 3 Years: The First Steps
The journey begins with the youngest participants, as early as 18 months. In sensory-rich storytelling classes, parents and children take part together, using songs, rhythm and movement to spark language development and emotional connection.
At this stage the focus is on discovery, engaging the senses, encouraging curiosity and nurturing early communication. Over time speech becomes clearer, attention grows and confidence starts to take root.
3 to 7 Years: Growing Confidence Through Play
In these years, drama becomes a playground for imagination. Children step into different roles such as animals, adventurers or superheroes and express themselves with energy and joy.
Role play, movement and storytelling encourage independence, teamwork and the ability to articulate thoughts and feelings. Many begin to speak up in class, ask questions and connect more easily with peers.
8 to 11 Years: Deeper Skills, Stronger Voices
Here children explore more complex characters and stories. They work closely in ensembles, learning empathy, problem solving and collaboration.
Performing is only part of the experience. They learn to communicate ideas clearly, listen actively and support one another in group work. As their skills grow, so does their ability to take initiative both in and out of the classroom.
12 to 15 Years: Performing with Purpose
For teens, drama becomes a space to explore identity and personal expression. Classes challenge them to create and perform work that is authentic, whether through monologues, devised scenes or collaborative projects.
They learn to take creative risks, lead projects and present themselves with assurance. These skills transfer to interviews, presentations and everyday interactions.
