What’s New in the 2025 PSLE? A major change in the 2025 PSLE is the increased emphasis on Oral Communication, particularly Reading Aloud. This component will now make up 20% of the overall English score, making effective communication skills more critical than ever. Strong reading and speaking abilities are no longer just beneficial—they are essential for maximising performance in the PSLE.
