SAFETY & SUSTAINABILITY

The SkyHelix Sentosa structure is designed and constructed by French company Aerophile, a leading expert on high-point attractions.

The gondola is completely powered by three electrical winches that are managed on-ground. Safety measures in place include an electronic safety mechanism to ensure guests are properly secured, emergency brakes, and power supply systems. Guests must meet a minimum height requirement of 1.05 metres to enjoy the ride.

As an added safety measure, an attraction host will accompany guests on the ride to ensure safety protocols are followed, while introducing the surrounding views and key landmarks as the gondola gently ascends.

SkyHelix Sentosa’s energy-efficient design utilises minimal electricity for its operations. Environmentally friendly packaging will be used for food and beverage.

ONE ESCAPADE, COUNTLESS EXPERIENCES

SkyHelix Sentosa will be the latest experience-driven attraction by Mount Faber Leisure Group, which underwent a brand refresh in September from its former corporate brand, One Faber Group. Cementing its position as one of Singapore’s leading leisure operators, the refresh is a timely reaffirmation of its commitment to introduce new memorable experiences to delight visitors, and support Singapore’s domestic and international tourism.

Just last year, Mount Faber Leisure Group started its Gai Gai Tour, a two-hour guided heritage tour to encourage locals to explore the wonders around Mount Faber Park and Faber Point. Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro, Mount Faber Leisure Group’s unique hilltop garden dining experience, was refreshed in September 2020 – introducing a brand-new indoor dining area and new menu with botanical-inspired food and drinks.

In July 2021, Mount Faber Leisure Group launched “Fly Me To Japan”, the second edition of its popular destination-themed Cable Car Sky Dining series. Most recently in August, the operator also opened Arbora Café at the Singapore Cable Car Gift Shop @ Imbiah Lookout, offering sandwiches and other light bites. The highly popular Wings of Time multi-sensory night show in Sentosa had reopen in mid-2022.
