The purpose of White Cane Day is to celebrate the abilities and successes of people with visual impairment. The event achieves this through helping the public understand how people with visual impairment overcome their challenges through blindfolded activities (e.g. weaving through an obstacle course while blindfolded) and the opportunity to meet our guide dogs and clients with visual impairment.

Time: 10.30am – 7pm
Venue: Waterway Point, B2 Event Square (East Wing)




Complete a certain number of activities to take home goodie bags and stand the chance to win lucky draws (while stocks last). We’ll also have highlights such as free eye check-up, guide dog demonstrations and a band performance by our clients with visual impairment.

The event is free, and people of all ages are welcome!
