MAD at Singapore Art Museum

On 16 and 17 February 2019, SAM’s buildings will go bare and open to the public for one weekend of fun and celebration.

The public can expect multimedia, immersive and insta-worthy activities on every level of SAM at 8Q, and Mad for SAM souvenirs to take home. Starting at 10am in the morning, the party will go into the night with DJs and homegrown band performances.

Iconic artworks like WALTER by Dawn Ng and Night Watch by WOKrea will be on display at SAM at 8Q from Friday, 8 February 2019 onwards.

During its building closure, SAM will continue its programmes off-site, launching the SAM Mini Mobile Museum initiative with regional libraries in Tampines, Jurong and Woodlands. SAM will also be commissioning artists to create artworks for the hoardings that will go up around its closed buildings during the revamp.
