The LEGO Group Lights Up Orchard Road With A LEGO BTS Dynamite Experience

The LEGO Group, in partnership with Singapore Tourism Board and Orchard Road Business Association, is shaking up Orchard Road from 7 to 16 July with a LEGO® BTS Dynamite experience inspired by the LEGO® IDEAS BTS Dynamite Set, which pays tribute to the 21st century pop icons, BTS. Located in the heart of Orchard Road, in front of Ngee Ann City, the experience is designed to immerse visitors in a Dynamite town with visually captivating photo opportunities and interactive activities, adding buzz and vibrancy to Singapore’s leading lifestyle destination.

Exploring the LEGO® BTS Dynamite experience pop-up

The experience spans across three zones, namely LEGO® BTS Big Builds Stage, Disco Retail Zone and Record Discovery Zone, along a 39-metre stretch on Orchard Road, with plenty of photo opportunities and interactive activities.

LEGO BTS Dynamite Experience LEGO® BTS Dynamite experience – LEGO BTS Big Builds Stage

At the LEGO® BTS Big Builds Stage, visitors can look forward to immersive photo opportunities with the band in their LEGO minifigure forms, which will be displayed as 1.2m figurines on stage, made up of over 161,000 LEGO bricks. Inspired by the BTS members dancing at the basketball court in the music video, the Open Courtyard will also display eye-catching backdrops for the public to take photos and dance against.

LEGO BTS Disco Retail Zone

Over at the Disco Retail Zone, visitors are invited to check out the first-ever large-scale LEGO BTS Diorama build that is inspired by the scenes of Dynamite MV. Spanning across 2m and made up of more than 10,000 LEGO bricks, participants can also Spot the LEGO Balloons within the diorama to win LEGO sets. Within the zone, there will also be an interactive photo booth where visitors can crystallise their memories at the experience with instant physical prints. The photo booth will provide an array of “Dynamite” music-themed graphic stickers to select and decorate their very own LEGO BTS Dynamite experience photo. Additionally, visitors can also get their hands on LEGO sets such as the LEGO® IDEAS BTS Dynamite Set, with special promotions of up to 25% off. Shoppers can also look forward to enticing promotions such as gift with purchase and bundle deals on selected items

LEGO BTS Record Discovery Zone

Visitors are invited to get moving and grooving at the Record Discovery Zone. These activities include:

LEGO® Donut Build: Inspired by the donut structure in the music video and the LEGO® IDEAS BTS Dynamite Set, participants are invited to contribute to Singapore Book of Records by building a LEGO Donut to add on and form Singapore’s largest LEGO Donut Wall, with over 500 donuts built onsite.
BRICKTIFY Me: Visitors are invited to build their “mini me” version of themselves via minifigures at the play area, and share a photo of their minifigures with the display set on their Instagram with #LEGOBTSSG.
Dance Off: To dance to their heart’s content, visitors can participate in a game of dance off by emulating the dance moves projected on the screen.

Participants will be able to collect stamps upon completion of each of the five interactive activities across the different zones – BRICKTIFY Me, Dance Off, LEGO® Donut Build, LEGO BTS Big Builds – Snap & Share, Spot the LEGO Balloons. With a total of three activity stamps, participants will score a chance to play the LEGO Claw Machine, where they can win special prizes. Shoppers who make a purchase with $49 minimum spend can also get an additional chance at the LEGO Claw Machine.

Look out for activities across Orchard Road to complete your Dynamite experience

Beyond the pop-up, Orchard Road visitors can also look out for Brick Walkers to participate in LEGO BTS Dynamite trivia on 8 July, between 12 to 2pm and 6 to 9pm. The Brick Walkers will invite participants to scan a QR code and answer a minimum of seven questions correctly to claim a prize.

On 9 July, the public can also take photos with three LEGO BTS photo standees and post these pictures on Instagram with the hashtag #LEGOBTSSG to claim a prize. The standees can be found at the ION Orchard and Ngee Ann City LEGO certified stores, as well as the LEGO® BTS Dynamite experience pop-up space.

Prizes for both the activities can be claimed at the redemption counter at Disco Retail Zone, limited to the first 450 redemptions each day.

The LEGO® Dynamite experience at Orchard Road will be held from 7 to 16 July 2023, 11am to 9pm daily.
