FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND LEAGUE OF LEGENDS ESPORTS CAMP FOR YOUTHS
*SCAPE is offering Singapore youths between the ages 13 to 25 a unique opportunity to attend a first-of-its-kind League of Legends (LoL) EXP Summer Camp happening on June 27 to 29. This specially curated 3 days 2 nights camp is free to attend and is part of *SCAPEesports Experience and Xposure Programme (EXP2019).
Unlike conventional esports camps that focus on gameplay, attendees can pick up skills on how to improve at LoL, learn about tilt management and handling toxic online behaviours. There will be exciting in-camp tournaments that encourage team unity while retaining individual competitiveness. Off-screen time will be devoted to fun team bonding exercises and interesting outdoor activities designed to foster teamwork and collaboration.
A highlight of the camp is a thematic Amazing Race challenge at Sentosa where teams raced against the clock to score points at LoL-related challenges at 14 locations. All participants will enjoy a character-building experience at Focus Adventure on Sentosa when they are required to work closely with teammates to conquer a 24 metres high challenge tower.
Acting as mentors and coaches to camp attendees are professional gamers and industry experts from Resurgence, Singapore’s largest esports organization. Renowned shoutcaster and Resurgence team owner Jayf Soh will also provide an insightful talk about the gaming industry and the spectrum of opportunities within the esports ecosystem.
