Learn about why and how Deepavali is celebrated in this informational video. K Sengkuttuvan, a member of the Hindu Endowments Board and the Inter-Religious Organisation, explores the importance of the Deepavali festival and some of the ways it is celebrated in Singapore.

Community Rangoli

Venue: ACM Lobby

Try your hand at traditional rangoli art and learn why it is a part of Deepavali decorations by contributing to the creation of a large rangoli in ACM’s lobby. Visitors will be able see the rangoli on display at the museum from 24 to 28 October 2022.

What’s Cooking? Deepavali Cooking Demonstration with Inderpal Singh

Drop-in Craft: Peacock Tea-lights

Celebrate Deepavali by creating your own pretty peacock tea-light candle embellished with layers of feathers made of air-dry clay! Make it part of your home decor at this fun, family-friendly drop-in craft activiy.
