A Whale of a Tale National Museum Singapore

Unveiled for the National Museumof Singapore’s 138th anniversary, this unique play space creatively reimagines the iconic blue whale skeleton that was a beloved fixture in its galleries from the early 1900s until the 1970s.

Designed to be inclusive and accessible for all, the playground encourages families to play, bond, and enhance their physical, social, and emotional well-being together.

Its charm lies in how it bridges generations: grandparents can fondly recall the past at the senior-friendly workout corner, surrounded by mosaic tiles inspired by classic Singaporean playgrounds, while watching their grandchildren play.
