Gorgeously illustrated by the very talented Zuzana Svobodová, this children’s picture book has a simple but powerful message. We all experience anxiety, stress, and big-feeling moments at one point in our lives, but we will eventually find our peace with some simple exercises.
This book is ideal for supporting children through difficult and overwhelming moments in their lives. It shows them that they are in control of their feelings and that there are tools they can use such as breathing, mindfulness, meditation, letting go, and affirmations to help them find Peace.
This is a good reminder for all of us to accept things that we have no control over and always be in the present moment. I am sure we all stress about regrets over the past and worry about the future, about what is to come when it hasn’t even happened yet. So instead of spending our time worrying, this book teaches us simple strategies to cope with that stress.
Proceeds of the sales of this book will go towards 2 important causes as I advocate for children’s mental health and well-being:
- Projects of the International Justice Mission to eradicate Online Sexual Exploitation of Children, and
- Projects by the International Association of Human Values, to help youth affected by war.
