Did you know that every child has different learning styles and different intelligences they use in their daily lives? While each child possesses each intelligence to an extent, there is always a primary or more dominant intelligence. As such, NASCANS assesses each student through two Multiple Intelligences (MI) assessments, the MI 27 Profiling and MI Detailed Assessment to identify a child’s strengths and areas for improvement. This process helps our mentors understand each student well and to guide them through strategies to excel in school and in life.

2. Comprehensive Academic Support

Parents can be assured that experienced mentors can supervise children when they are completing their homework and guide them with spelling through engaging and fun ways! At NASCANS, we help to solidify students’ understanding of key concepts and mastery of language through additional English, Mathematics, Science and Chinese assessments and practices. We also provide add-on tutorial services. You won’t have to send your child for extra tuition over the weekends and can spend more time with your kids!

Our mentors are experienced educators driven by a passion to educate and care for your child’s after-school needs so that parents don’t need to worry about their child’s physical and emotional well-being, homework completion or academics.

With our newly revamped Professional Development Framework, the Oasis Programme, all NASCANS mentors will undergo extensive training of over 150 hours to upskill and grow towards becoming a Competent Professional, a Collaborative Learner, and a Community Builder.
