Singapore Art Week

Singapore Art Week is an annual celebration of visual arts which takes place in the month of January. The eighth edition in 2020 will be held from 11 to 19 January 2020. Bring your whole family and see art come to life at this year’s event. Look forward to digital art exhibitions, public art trails, workshops and an augmented reality showcase that will be sure to engage all art lovers.

Pulau Ubin Cooking Trail

Learn about the types of herbs and plants used in Malay cooking and experience what it was like to forage for edible plants back in the day!

Participants are to gather at Malay Heritage Centre. Transportation to Changi Ferry Terminal and boat to Pulau Ubin will be provided. Participants who prefer to proceed to Changi Ferry Terminal directly are free to do so. Further details will be provided upon confirmation of registration.

River Hongbao 2020

Singapore River Hongbao 2019 Firework

The Lunar New Year is fast approaching and it’s time for the most iconic and largest Lunar New Year event of the year – River Hongbao 2020! Celebrate this festive occasion with special choreographed fireworks, interactive exhibits and intricate handmade lanterns that truly bring the festivity to life. There will be other fringe activities and carnival games for the whole family to enjoy as well!

You can also look forward to tasting local delicacies unique to six major dialect groups in Singapore that will be sold along a 40-stall food street.

Istana Open House

Led by PSM volunteer guides, this building tour of the Istana brings participants to visit the Istana’s stately function rooms and admire the stunning architectural details of this National Monument which has welcomed royalty, presidents and other VIPs throughout its history. Participants will also get to view a special display of gifts presented to Singapore’s Presidents and Prime Ministers over the years.
