Touted as Singapore’s largest National Day party for babies, the National Trades Union Congress’ (NTUC) Baby’s Day Out – My First National Day bash grew even bigger this year. The event saw a record participation by more than 5,000 parents and babies at the Lawn @ Marina Boulevard on 3 August 2013.

In conjunction with World Breastfeeding Week and in line with U Family’s advocacy on stronger support for breastfeeding mothers, a mass breastfeeding activity participated by 250 mothers is also specially included in the programme. These participating mothers will each receive a Working Mum’s Milk Kit by U Family.

The kit comprises items like a “Nursing Mum Inside” door hanger, a “Mum off to Pump” desk sign and “Mummy’s Milk” milk labels, all of which serve to better facilitate breastfeeding process. Following the event, up to 1,000 kits will also be distributed to members who are breastfeeding mothers.
