Jointly organised by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) and the National Library Board (NLB), Read! IT is the 1st nationwide reading event powered by New Infocomm across several venues island-wide. Helmed by The Plaza, National Library Building, reading teams will ingeniously deliver their selected books at five other sites (Choa Chu Kang Community Club, Marsiling Community Club, Nee Soon South Community Club, Geylang Serai Community Club, SCOGA & NYP @ Nanyang Polytechnic). Read! IT will be the very first event in Singapore whereby traditional reading will be integrated with the use of Web2.0 or New Infocomm media to present an unprecedented, enriching and dynamic reading experience. Read! IT is a main highlight of Read! Singapore 2010, a nation-wide reading initiative organised by NLB since 2005 to promote a culture of reading among Singaporeans.
