Imagine walking 3 to 6 kilometres almost every day just to get to school or work in slippers or bare footed. This is the reality of underprivileged children in countries like Cambodia.

Project Happy Feet invites you to experience a part of their life. Come join us in a non-competitive 3.5 km walk in flip flops down the scenic Punggol waterway this 10 December 2016. The Slipper Race 2016 aims to inspire Singaporeans to be part of a community-driven effort to empower education for the less privileged at home and overseas. Look forward to attractive stops, live performances and merchandise booths set up specially for you.

100% of ticket proceeds will be channelled to education and training programmes run by Beyond Social Services (Singapore) and This Life Cambodia (Cambodia).

The event is fully run by volunteers [100%]: Student Volunteers from CCA Caretylst clubs from the different universities and run by Soule Enterprise, a social enterprise funded by youths and for youths.

Pros: Family friendly, prams and pet friendly. Offering adult and child rates for event. Babies from 0-3 free entry. There would also be carnival with activities for families and children friendly at event venue post-event.
