Project bECOme proudly presents our inaugural Bread Without Bags Fair taking place at City Square Mall on 20 July 2019, 11am – 7pm!
The Bread Without Bags Fair promises an exciting line-up of bakeries, each selling their signature bread (packaging-free!), along with interactive educational booths and green stores to help you kickstart your own sustainable living.
We are honoured to have MP Denise Phua as our Guest-Of-Honour, as well as celebrity hosts Charlotte Mei and Debra Teng as emcees for the fair. Subhas Nair and Zee. J will also be performing, guaranteeing the crowd a delivery of stunning vocals.
With mouthwatering delights, engaging booths and captivating performances, the fair will be a rare and exciting chance to entice all your senses. There could be no better way to spend your Saturday in the month of Plastic Free July. We understand that the information overload on climate change can be daunting, but this event promises to bring all visitors an enjoyable light-hearted experience.
The event is free for all! Just bring a large container and tote bag (or a few if you’re a breadivore like us) to buy bakes packaging-free, and most importantly, an open mind. Customers who purchase bread without any single-use packaging may also be rewarded with discounts. What’s more, donations collected at the fair will be donated to Food From The Heart, and bakeries will be donating their excess bread after the fair to its Food Run programme. Seastainable.co will also be donating $0.50 for every single-use bag saved to Food From The Heart!
