bare your sole

Helping Singapore’s less fortunate is a “walk in the park”! Take off your shoes and join the “Habitat for Humanity-Barclays Bare Your Sole 2013” barefoot walk! In Singapore, as many as 35,000 people are living alone and in unsafe and unsanitary conditions. Being elderly, sick or handicapped, these people in need are unable to clean their homes effectively. Habitat for Humanity believes that we should not allow any human being to live in an unsafe or unhygienic environment.

The 2.5/ 5km walk is set to help raise funds for these local beneficiaries and increase awareness for the project that helps clean and sanitise these homes. Habitat for Humanity’s “Project Homeworks” mobilizes volunteers to a proper clean-up of these homes in turn improving the lives of many Singaporeans. Let us take off our shoes on this one particular day and support Habitat for Humanity.
