There will be an exciting line-up of programmes for the whole family including performances, storytelling, and crafts over 2-4 June at the Ghost Nets of the Ocean Weekend Festival! Here’s a brief list of the various programmes in store:

Explore the oceans with your whole family every Friday in June! Dive into the deep in our galleries, make your own special sea animals, listen to intriguing stories and watch exciting performances!
GHOST NETS OF THE OCEAN WEEKEND FESTIVAL
Date: 3 & 4 June 2017
Time: 1 – 5pm
Meet the artists and get in conversation with the artists behind the magical Ghost Nets of the Ocean at 3pm on 4 June 2017, where the Artists and curator of the project share their inspirations behind the exhibition and works of art.
Go on an adventure under the sea in our galleries and try your hand at crafts, and enjoy performances, storytelling tours and family trails around the museum!
STORY WHISPERERS: TALES FROM THE SEA
Date: 3 June to 6 August 2017
Time: 3 – 3.30pm
Dive into our storytelling tour and discover fishy tales from Asian folklore, with your whole family! Guided by Friends of the Museum.
30-minute tours run daily from 3 June to 25 June 2017, thereafter on 1 July and 5 August.
ARTIST ‘LIVE’ DEMONSTRATIONS
Date: 4 to 9 June 2017
Time: 1 – 5pm
Venue: ACM, Gallery 5, Level 2
Exhibition visitors will be able to view ‘live’ demonstrations and interact with the Erub Artists.
Artists will be weaving a marine animal within the exhibition gallery and visitors will have a chance to learn the craft behind the stunning artworks!
