What do you get when you have 88 liters of paint, a basketball size of blank cloth canvas and 60 children?

Pure mess and fun in the name of ART!

Christmas Came Early

On 17 November, WowART Learning Studio held their World’s BIGGEST Christmas Card at Punggol Green Primary School. About 60 parents gathered with their children and family members in tow to participate in this event.

Let The Painting Begin!

Children donned Reindeer antelopes and elves’ collars, and were armed with ordinary and ‘special’ painting tools. From using everyday cleaning tools, to water guns, and water bombs loaded with paint, it was a day of messy fun for the kids! The emcee also narrated a story and got children to dramatize and be involved in the story as Santa’s little helpers and Reindeers. We let the pictures do the talking.

wowart xmas event - time to clean upEven the ‘clean-up’ was cleverly incorporated to get children to ‘paint’ the Christmas card.

About Beyond Social Services:
Beyond Social Services, began as a charity based in Bukit Ho Swee, one of the oldest housing estates in Singapore. They were set up in August 1969 in response to the poor living conditions aggravated by 2 fires that hit the Bukit Ho Swee Community in the 1960s. They endeavour to deal with the culture of poverty and delinquency on an island-wide basis, our programmes have grown to the extent where it can no longer simply depend on the funds provided by the National Council of Social Service (Community Chest of Singapore). Their operating expenses are also defrayed by government grants and the generosity of philanthropic establishments, commercial corporations and well-wishers.
