We all handle our children differently. However, by the end of the day, we parents have only one goal in mind. That is to give the best to our children and to guide them to our best ability so that they have the correct values to bring them through to adulthood. Just what’s your parenting style?
- Authoritarian Parenting - You set high standards for your child with numerous rules and restrictions. You expect orders to be followed without questions asked. Children raised under authoritarian parenting may lack confidence as they seldom have the chance to make their own choice and are often have to adhered to tight rules and regulations.
- Permissive Parenting - You do not really set rules and regulations for your child. You are lenient and giving. You avoid any confrontation with your child. Your child generally loves your companionship as they are free to do what they want to do. Children raised under permissive parenting may have some difficulties getting along with others as their misbehavior and inappropriate act are often not corrected.
- Authoritative Parenting - You discuss and explain to your child why certain rules are important and why do they need to be upheld. You have high expectation for your child but also listens to your child’s concerns. Children raised under authoritative parenting grow to be a responsible, independent and confident person.
- Uninvolved Parenting - You do not have any rules for your child and you do not have time for them. You generally do not know what s happening to your child. If you fall under this category, it’s time you start spending some time with your children.

This is true! I am a single parent to two children. I love them so much and I worry about their safety, in a world that is so cold. God bless you and yours. I love your site. I promise to come back soon. Have a great day.

Thanks for your compliment.

It’s hard work being a parent and it is even harder work being a single parent. I sure your children will appreciate your love for them as they grow.
