Teaching Your Child The Millionaire Mindset

I attended the Millionaire Mind Intensive (by T. Harv Eker) organized by Success Resources last weekend. It’s a seminar teaching how you could acquire the millionaire mindset.  Many of you will wonder what does it means by Millionaire Mindset.. initially I thought it was all about changing your financial blueprint, getting into financial freedom and stuff like that.  However, I found that I gain more than what I thought it would be.  After the seminar, I felt recharge and it also change my perspective of life.

Here’s my understanding of a Millionaire Mindset…

• No doubt..it’s about winning the money game. How to stop working for others and work at developing your own passive income.  Passive income through investing in property, internet marketing, investing, start a business..etc




• Manage you money well..there is a very important aspect to financial freedom that everyone overlook, that is to simplify your lifestyle.  We all knows how to earn the money but there’s always a problem of saving it.
• Success breeds success. Believe in yourself and celebrate small success.  I always believe that when your efforts are recognized you will always strive to do better next time.  There goes the same for children.  Celebrate your child’s success no matter how small is it even though it is part and puzzle of growing up. Me and my husband praised our children when they accomplished little task and we could see their urge to achieve even more.
• Always be positive.  I know this is something really hard.  In life, all of us has our fair share of complaints. However, it is important to maintain a positive mindset.  I believe a positive mindset can bring you far in life.  When you think of the good things, it will naturally comes to you.  That’s the law of attraction.

It’s really quite an experience for me.  To my surprise, I saw quite some people who brings their children along.  I got to know a couple who even brought their 2 daughters, both less than 6 years old.  I tell myself, I will do the same when my children grows older.  Rather then teaching them money doesn’t grows on trees, I shall involve them in a real life seminar so that they will not only learn about money but the way of life.  The positive mindset to be happy and successful in life is something you learn from the real life university and schools don’t teach that.
