Singapore largest science event is back!

Jointly organised by A*STAR and Singapore Science Centre, the festival is especially for aspiring Changemakers who love to inquire, imagine and invent. It aims to encourage people, young and old, from all walks of life to be a Changemaker of Science.

Highlights of the Event

  • A full Scale Makers Faire

Last year Makers Faire was a mini series. This year, the Makers Faire is one of the core events of the festival. A celebration of DIY (Do-it-yourself) culture in Singapore, play with cool projects at the hands-on booths as well as learn how to make your own DIY Projects. Grab a copy of Science Centre’s book “Busy Hands, Happy Hears”, documenting the families who embrace this spirit and feature some of their own creations.

  • Bringing Science to the Heartland and Shopping Mall

A 3 day science carnival which celebrates the developments and research work in the field of science and technology. Great for both kids and families, expect many awe-inspiring science demonstrations and have fun with hands-on experiments managed by some of Singapore’s most outstanding research and tertiary institutions.

Science Buskers Festival

Encompassing the idea of developing the individual’s communication skills though expressions of science in creative manners, this is organised as a competition. Watch contestants strut their creative flair and show off their science magic!
