Sands for Singapore Charity Festival, Marina Bay Sands’ signature event, will make a comeback for the first time after a two-year hiatus to shine a spotlight on meaningful causes in Singapore and celebrate the spirit of giving amongst guests, community partners, employees, and the public.

From 8 – 10 September, the charity extravaganza will transform the Event Plaza into a bustling Giving Marketplace for non-profit organisations, social enterprises, and small local businesses to raise funds for charity. Feast on mouthwatering delights dished out by Marina Bay Sands’ signature restaurants, Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer and Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, specially priced for a good cause, or be enthralled by a spectacular line-up of free performances every evening, including headliner acts by Singaporean musicians Benjamin Kheng, Tabitha Nauser, and Annette Lee. Capping off the festivities is the annual Community Chest Heartstrings Walk and Vertical Marathon, which Marina Bay Sands co-organises, on 10 September.

Giving Marketplace

  • 8 Sep (Thur), 5pm – 9.30pm
  • 9 Sep (Fri), 5pm – 10pm
  • 10 Sep (Sat), 2pm – 10pm

Shop for a cause at a curated selection of booths set up by non-profit organisations and social enterprises, such as APSN, Art Outreach Singapore, Image Mission and Care Corner Singapore. Unique lifestyle products, as well as food and beverage, will be on sale to raise awareness for their causes. All proceeds will be retained by participating non-profit organisations and social enterprises, ensuring that more funds go towards their beneficiaries directly.

Small local businesses, such as independent bookstore Basheer Graphic Books; small batch kombucha brewery company Wild Boocha; and artisan plant boutique The Nursery Singapore, will also be at the Giving Marketplace and committing at least 10 per cent of their proceeds to local charities.

Free Music and Entertainment

Homegrown performers and entertainers are set to electrify and raise awareness for local charities at this year’s Sands for Singapore Charity Festival! From hit sensations, such as Benjamin Kheng, Tabitha Nauser, and Annette Lee, to local bands from the likes of Nation One, 53A and Shirlyn + The UnXpected, audiences can expect good music every evening.

Gourmet Pop-Ups

  • 8 Sep (Thur), 5pm – 9.30pm
  • 9 Sep (Fri), 5pm – 10pm
  • 10 Sep (Sat), 2pm – 10pm

This year, gourmet pop-ups helmed by Marina Bay Sands’ signature restaurants, Black Tap Craft Burgers & Bar and Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, will feature as part of a Giving Marketplace at the Event Plaza. Crowd favourites from the two restaurants, such as Black Tap’s classic craft All-American Burger and shakes and Yardbird’s popcorn shrimp and Biscuit & Gravy, will be specially priced to raise funds for charity. All sale proceeds by Marina Bay Sands’ signature restaurants at the Giving Marketplace will be donated to Community Chest, which will benefit over 100 social service agencies.
