Water play is one of the kids favourite. I agree that there are lots of fun in the pool but thereare mishaps that happen too. Here are some ways to keep the children safe in the swiming pool if the children does not know how to swim.
- Always make sure that the water level is always below the toddler’s chest when they are standing in the water.
- Provide the toddler with a float and swim near the shallower end of the water.
- Get your toddler out of the water quickly if it rains
- Keep an open eye to where the rescue aids such as the lifebuoys and jackets are so that you can reach for them in split seconds when in emergency.
- Do not let the toddler runs near the pool
- Do not allow them to push other children when they are near the pool
- Most importantly, be near your toddler when they are playing in the water and keep a close look on them.
Hope this helps create awareness on the safety in the pool. ![]()
