Safety Play Part 1 - 7 Safety Tips at the Playground

Children learn through through play and exploring.  While we let the children have fun in the playground with slides, see-saw and swings, we must make sure that they play safely.  Here are some safety rules to note.

  1. Remind the children not to push other children.  Always take turns when playing with the equipments.
  2. Teach the children the proper usage of the playground equipment. Eg.  Do not stand on the swings.
  3. Choose playground grounded with sand or rubber.  As it reduces the pain and injury impact when the kids fall down.
  4. Make sure that the playing equipment are in order and not damaged.
  5. Make sure there are no broken glass pieces lying around.
  6. Avoid bringing children to the playground soon after the rain as wet and slippery equipment might caused accidents.
  7. Stay at close vicinity with your child and remember to keep an eye on them.
