Read! Fest is a two month long festival that aims to rally Singaporeans in a nationwide reading journey by involving the community to stimulate interest in reading amongst peers and loved ones.

There are over 170 exciting programmes lined up over the two month period, from the Reader’s Day Inn to workshops, theatre, games and debates. The last day of the festival will coincide with the inaugural National Reading Day on 30th July with a charity drive “Read for Books” at the National Library Building. Come start your reading adventure with us this June!

The Read! Fest kicks off with the Reader’s Day Inn, where a full day of literary programmes awaits you and your family. There are author panel discussions, singer-songwriter sessions, poetry performances and more. A book is your plane ticket, your guide to the galaxy. Take the road less travelled, journey to new places and make new friends. We hope that you will embark on a journey with us through Read! Fest 2016.
