For the eighth time, Liang Court is embracing its Japanese influence
and bringing an authentic experience to shoppers this New Year.
As one of the most important occasions in the Japanese calendar, Liang Court will have a grand celebration of the Japan New Year (正月 Shogatsu) with an array of exciting activities happening from 26 December 2015 to 10 January 2016 at the mall.
Shoppers can find themselves immersed in an authentic Japan New Year experience with festivities such as a Wanko Soba, Japanese Lion Dance (獅子舞Shishimai), Japanese Drum Performance (太鼓 Taiko), Rice Cake Making (餅つきMochitsuki), Sake Opening (鏡開きKagami-biraki). There will also be a give-away of Japanese Wrapping Cloth (風呂敷Furoshiki) – something traditionally used to wrap gifts for exchange.
These range of activities were chosen to give shoppers a cultural moment to enjoy this New Year, especially those looking for a Japanese experience. Liang Court has long been renowned for its Japanese themed atmosphere, and a New Year celebration like this would bring a festive spirit with a difference to its shoppers, or for those who might want to have a little piece of home this New Year time.
