Fun and memorable childhood?
May 3, 2008

Society pressure to bring up a genius nowadays is indeed there. All of us want our children to excel among the rest.
When you flip through the papers and surf the internet today, we can see many courses that train children to bring out their utmost potential, to nurture “superkids”. Imagine us having to play with toys and having fun with our neighbours during toddlerhood, our poor 2 years old are now attending classes after classes.
Ashton is attending toddler class in GUG right now. I was really surprise to know that his fellow classmates at the same age were attending many other classes like speech and drama, brain simulation class, music, painting, gymnastic class etc…how competitive.

I did not put my son in so many classes. I am currently actively in a look out for a brain simulation program. Though my mum felt that I have spent alot in education materials such as classes and story books, i beg to differ. I believe that children needs to be nurture. 70% of parents nurturing and 30% of in born potential brings out the full potential of the children.
As long as the children don’t resist going for enrichment classes and as long as learning is fun for them in class, why not????
